In Flower (Umbilicus), a large circular platform is covered by a glowing skin. As viewers walk across the platform the skin peels back to reveal an underlying turbulent layer. When viewers leave, the top layer slowly grows back, sometimes leaving small holes as remnants of the interaction. An off-center hole, the umbilicus, never grows over, always revealing the under layer.
