Danielle Sauvé is a sculptor and installation artist. Her work has been exhibited widely in galleries and museums throughout Canada, the USA, as well as internationally. She has created permanent public art installations, and has pieces in the permanent collections of several Canadian museums.

Danielle’s recent pieces are inspired by situations of displacement. Her work incorporates light, various materials, video and sound in sculpture/installations as a way of creating a dialectic between the fugitive experience and material representation.

"I observe the way mobility transforms my perception of the world and plays on the definition of my identity. I am curious of others’ experience of exile – and how they intertwine with my own story, infiltrate my work".
